And we continue to research the ELIT TRANSPORT news. The novelty from the MAISTO workshop, which we will present to you today, belongs to the group of more successful sets of collector cars in 1/64 scale. Already during the preliminary survey, we realized that MAISTO tried to bring the model closer to the real world with the help of worn paintwork using scratched paint. It is only a question of how some collectors paint it and apply patina. Another advantage is the RAMP TRUCK itself, which is probably based on the FORD C.
A pokračujeme ďalej v prieskume noviniek ELIT TRANSPORT. Novinka z dielne MAISTO, ktorú vám dnes predstavíme patrí do skupiny viac vydarených setov zberateľských autíčok v mierke 1/64. Už pri predbežnom prieskume nám došlo, že sa MAISTO pokúsilo pomocou opotrebovaného lakovania viac priblížiť model do reálneho sveta pomocou poškriabaného laku. Je už len otázkou ako si ho niektorí zberatelia nafarbia a nanesú patinu. Ďalšou prednosťou je i samotný RAMP TRUCK, ktorý zrejme vychádza z modelu FORD C.
The whole set is probably oriented to the environment of local car races organized somewhere in the southern USA. We talk about our idea and the feeling of the whole set. After all, the Chevrolet Bel Air Gasser hotrod itself cannot be imagined anywhere else on the racing circuits. The movable ramp helps the car to be loaded better.
Celý set je zrejme orientovaný do prostredia automobilových lokálnych závodov organizovaných niekde na juhu USA. Vravíme o našej predstave a pocite z celého setu. Nakoniec samotný hotrod Chevrolet Bel Air Gasser si nevieme nikde inde predstaviť na závodných okruhoch. Pohyblivá rampa pomáha lepšiemu naloženiu auta.
Well-designed details of the RAMP TRUCK (FORD C) not only on the truck cab itself, but also on the ramp are already known from previous sets, which the manufacturer has released in the ELITE TRANSPORT edition. However, in silver metallic RAMP TRUCK looks really impressive. The movable retractable ramp is made of plastic and also the entire body. As a result, the red color on the metal cab is different from the red color on the ramp. We would like to praise the distinctive representation of the cab body parts. We have the opposite opinion of the indistinct to dull chassis. This small drawback was significantly reduced by nice and detailed chrome discs. Everything is fine-tuned by the tread effect on rubber tires.
Dobre navrhnuté detaily RAMP TRUCK (FORD C) nielen na samotnej kabíne nákladiaku, ale i rampe už poznáme z predošlých setov, ktoré v edícii ELITE TRANSPORT výrobca vydal. Avšak v striebornej metalíze RAMP TRUCK vyzerá naozaj pôsobivo. Pohyblivá výsuvná rampa je vyrobená z plastu a taktiež i celá korba. To má za následok, že červená farba na kovovej kabíne je iná ako červená farba ma rampe. Chceme pochváliť výrazné znázornenie častí karosérie kabíny. Opačný názor máme na nevýrazný až fádny podvozok. Tento drobný nedostatok výrazne znížili pekné a detailne navrhnuté chrómové disky. Všetko dolaďuje efekt dezénu na gumových pneumatikách.
CHEVROLET BEL AIR GASSER is not a novelty in the MAISTO offer and many collectors appreciate its realistic bodywork with a lot of embedded plastic details. The manufacturer also made sure that the painting looked authentic and marked for use during the race. However, what always interests us about these beauties is the chassis where MAISTO did not miss the opportunity to perfectly design the original leaf suspension of the chassis. Of course, even those interested in the ELITE TRANSPORT edition do not have to doubt the interiors. It is designed in the spirit of simplicity, but exactly copies the real look of the vehicle.
CHEVROLET BEL AIR GASSER nie je novinkou v ponuke MAISTO a mnohí zberatelia oceňujú jeho realistické spracovanie karosérie s množstvom vkladaných plastových detailov. Taktiež si výrobca nechal záležať, aby lakovanie pôsobilo autenticky a poznačené používaním počas pretekov. Čo nás však vždy zaujme na týchto kráskach je podvozok kde si MAISTO nenechalo ujsť príležitosť dokonale navrhnúť pôvodné listové odpruženie podvozku. Samozrejme ani o interiéry nemusí záujemca o edíciu ELITE TRANSPORT pochybovať. Je navrhnutá v duchu jednoduchosti, ale presne kopíruje reálny vzhľad vozidla.
The set is quite interesting for us and we don’t want to force you to buy this 2-pack model at all. Its authenticity will be appreciated especially by collectors of American car models.
