The ŠKODA 1000 MBG DE LUXE is the fourth model in the new collection of KALEIDOSKOP SLAVNÝCH VOZŮ. The magazine collection is very popular not only in the Czech Republic, where it is primarily published. We must also admit that the quality of the design is better with each number. The luxury version of the ŠKODA 1000 pleased us especially with the version it embodies. It is a lesser-known version of this legendary car designed primarily for export under the name MBG DE LUXE.
Už štvrtým modelom v poradí z novej kolekcie KALEIDOSKOP SLAVNÝCH VOZŮ je voz ŠKODA 1000 MBG DE LUXE. Časopisová kolekcia sa teší veľkej obľube nielen v Českej republike, kde primárne vychádza. Taktiež musíme priznať, že kvalita prevedenia je každým číslom lepšia. Luxusná verzia ŠKODA 1000 nás potešila predovšetkým verziou, ktorú stvárňuje. Ide o menej známu verziu tohto legendárneho vozu určeného predovšetkým pre export pod označením MBG DE LUXE.
With the introduction of the ŠKODA 1000 MB model, the Czechoslovak carmaker in Mladá Boleslav started a new era for this carmaker. The new model brought with it a number of technological innovations directly applied in the car, but also in the production process. New lines, production processes, specialized industries were created, as well as communications in the new AZNP factory. All this has moved the ŠKODA brand to the level of Western automobiles, and many experts in this field claim that it was a pioneer of new processes applied later in Western automobiles. The first ŠKODA 1000 MBG DE LUXE was introduced at the end of 1966. It was a version intended for export. Much attention has been paid to details in the exterior, so that the new car will impress more demanding customers abroad. Engine power and driving characteristics have also been modified.
Uvedením modelu ŠKODA 1000 MB zahájila Československá automobilka v Mladej Boleslavy novú éru tejto automobilky. Nový model so sebou priniesol množstvo technologických noviniek priamo aplikovaných v automobile, ale i vo výrobnom procese. Vznikli nové linky, výrobné procesy, špecializované odvetvia a taktiež komunikácie v novom podniku AZNP. To všetko posunulo značku ŠKODA na úroveň západných automobiliek a mnohí znalci v tomto obore tvrdia, že bola priekopníkom nových procesov aplikovaných neskôr i v západných automobilkách. Prvý automobil ŠKODA 1000 MBG DE LUXE bol predstavený koncom roka 1966. Išlo o verziu určenú pre export. Veľa pozornosti sa venovalo detailom v exteriéri, aby nový voz zapôsobil na náročnejších zákazníkov v zahraničí. Taktiež bol upravený výkon motoru a upravené jazdné vlastnosti.
DeAGOSTINI has designed a model at a good level. We examined the lines and highlights of the body in detail. In this respect, the manufacturer designed the model well. The surface varnish looked plastic. The beautiful deep green color looked plastic and would deserve more shine. However, color details and few of them have offset this minor drawback. The hinges on the rear hood, the door handles on the front fenders and the bar with the Škoda emblem are worth noting. We were a bit massive by the chrome accessories, of which there are also a large number of models. Above all, we were not impressed by the rear-view mirror and the windscreen wipers. On the contrary, the front mask and the rear grille fit well into the whole concept of the model and faithfully copy the real model.
Spoločnosť DeAGOSTINI navrhla model na dobrej úrovni. Detailne sme skúmali línie a zvýraznenia karosérie. V tomto smere výrobca navrhol model dobre. Čo nám však troška vadil bol lak. Krásna sýta zelená farba pôsobila plasticky a zaslúžila by si viac lesku. Avšak farebné detaily a nie je ich málo tento drobný nedostatok vyvážili. Za pozornosť stoja pánty na zadnej kapote, kľučky dvier na predných blatníkoch lišta s emblémom škoda. Trošku masívne na nás pôsobili chrómové doplnky, ktorých je na modely tiež veľké množstvo. Predovšetkým spätné zrkadlo a stierače na čelnom skle na nás nezapôsobilo dobre. Naopak predná maska a zadná mriežka dobre zapadla do celého konceptu modelu a verne kopíruje reálnu predlohu.
Unfortunately, the interior of the vehicle, as with the previous models from this collection, we could not take a detailed photo and view. The manufacturer has mounted the interior on rivets and without damaging the model, the plastic cradles of the interior cannot be separated. The chassis of the car is already better and more detailed than with previous models. DeAGOSTINI has suggested more details that are precisely designed. In particular, the front and rear axles carry a lot of detail. We were also pleased with the dust collectors behind the rear wheels. The wheels with a chrome finish excelled very well on the car and fine-tune the overall impression of the model to excellent. Also the tread on rubber tires is good and reasonably deep.
Bohužiaľ interiér vozidla ako u predošlých modelov z tejto kolekcie sme si nemohli detailne nafotiť a prezrieť. Výrobca osadil interiér na nity a bez poškodenia modelu sa nedá oddeliť plastová kolíska interiéru. Podvozok vozu je už lepší a detailnejšie spracovaný ako u predošlých modeloch. DeAGOSTINI navrhlo viac detailov, ktoré sú precízne navrhnuté. Predovšetkým predná a zadná náprava nesie množstvo detailov. Taktiež nás potešili lapače prachu za zadnými kolesami. Kolesá s chrómovou úpravou vynikli na autíčku veľmi dobre a doľaďujú celkový dojem z modelu na výbornú. Taktiež dezén na gumených pneumatikách je dobrý a primerane hlboký.
The overall impression of the ŠKODA model is positive for us. For ŠKODA car collectors, it will certainly be a pleasant diversification of the collection. Despite minor shortcomings, the model offers more positive impressions. Also an unusual version of the ŠKODA 1000 MBG plays a role in this. Our verdict is positive, we recommend it.
Celkový dojem z modelu ŠKODA je pre nás pozitívny. Pre zberateľov automobilov ŠKODA bude isto príjemným spestrením zbierky. I cez drobné nedostatky model ponúka viac pozitívnych dojmov. Taktiež nezvyčajná verzia ŠKODA 1000 MBG v tomto hrá rolu. Náš verdikt je kladný, odporúčame.
