In mapping the news from MAISTO for the year 2021, we advanced to the very successful set CHEVROLET CAMARO Z / 28, which complemented an unspecified type of towing service, or a specially designed car for the transport of racing cars. We see the basis of the transporter with a moving platform in the INTERNATIONAL (NAVISTAR) brand. In every respect, it is a pity that MAISTO did not follow the previous ELITE TRANSPORT sets in this direction, where both cars have a real basis.
V mapovaní noviniek od MAISTO pre rok 2021 sme pokročili k veľmi vydarenému setu CHEVROLET CAMARO Z/28, ktorý doplnil bližšie neurčený typ odťahovej služby, respektíve špeciálne navrhnutého auta na prevoz závodných špeciálov. My vidíme základ transportéru s pohyblivou plošinou v značke INTERNATIONAL (NAVISTAR). V každom ohľade je škoda, že MAISTO v tomto smere nenasledovalo predošlé sety ELITE TRANSPORT, kde reálny základ majú obe autá.
We focused more on CHEVROLET, which is more important from a collector’s point of view, but both models are characterized by good painting and print graphics. The amount of inserted parts, mostly in chrome, is at a good level, but it would deserve greater accuracy of mounting. What pleased us most about the CAMARO Z / 28 was the movable front hood, which hides a chrome engine (about V8). Probably moreover, the positively evaluated part of the vehicle for us was the interior, which also contains elements of chrome parts, but above all well-designed parts of the cockpit. Also worth noting are the speakers under the rear window, as well as the detailed dashboard. The overall lines of the vehicle were well followed.
Viac menej sa budeme venovať CHEVROLET autíčku, ktoré má zo zberateľského hľadiska väčší význam, ale oba modely sa vyznačujú dobrým lakovaním a printovou grafikou. Množstvo vkladaných dielov prevažne v chróme je na dobrej úrovni, ale zaslúžilo by si väčšiu presnosť osadenia. Čo nás na CAMARO Z/28 najviac potešilo bola pohyblivá predná kapota, ktorá ukrýva pochrómovaný motor (asi V8). Zrejme naviac kladne hodnotenou časťou vozidla bol pre nás interiér, ktorý v sebe nesie tiež prvky chrómových dielov, ale predovšetkým dobre navrhnuté časti kokpitu. Za povšimnutie stoja i reproduktory pod zadným oknom a tiež i detailne navrhnutá palubná doska. Celkové línie vozidla boli dobre dodržané.
The sporting spirit of the car was multiplied by nice wheels with a distinctive pattern and red rim on the discs themselves. The width of the wheels in this model is really impressive. There are not many such pieces in 1/64 scale. On the plastic chassis, the manufacturer put more emphasis on the texts than on the details. Of course, the MAISTO designers also won a bit here. It took us a while to realize that the silver lines are actually the exhaust line, which disappears at the rear axle and again appears in the form of terminals under the rear bumper. The impression from the whole set “RZ – RED ZONE” is good. The color combination of gray metallic with red succeeded. In addition, the CHEVROLET model is manufactured under license from the carmaker itself. If you are a fan of American cars, you should definitely not miss this Z28. We rate the set as good for us.
Športového ducha autíčka znásobili i pekné kolesá s výrazným dezénom a červeným lemom na samotných diskoch. Šírka kolies je pri tomto modely naozaj impozantná. V mierke 1/64 sa veľa takých kúskov nevyskytuje. Na plastovom podvozku si výrobca dal viac záležať na textoch, ako na stvárnení detailov. Ale i tu sa samozrejme dizajnéri MAISTO troška vyhrali. Chvíľu nám trvalo než sme si uvedomili, že strieborné línie sú vlastne výfukové vedenie, ktoré zaniká pri zadnej náprave a opäť sa ukáže vo forme koncoviek pod zadným nárazníkom. Dojem z celého setu “RZ – RED ZONE” je dobrý. Farebná kombinácia šedej metalickej farby s červenou farbou sa vydaril. Naviac je model CHEVROLET vyrobený v licencii samotnej automobilky. Ak ste fanúšikom amerických automobilov, rozhodne by vám táto Z28 nemala chýbať. Za nás hodnotíme set ako dobrý.
