We admit that the new ELITE TRANSPORT series from MAISTO in 1/64 scale has become our heart. We focused a little more on this brand as it convinced us that it offers a lot. We are not just talking about details. Above all, we are interested in the overall impression. The combination of two really nice CHEVROLET models created a nice set, which we present to you today. We think many of you will be as excited as we are.

Priznávame, že nová séria ELITE TRANSPORT od MAISTO v mierke 1/64 sa stala našou srdcovkou. Troška viac sme sa zamerali na túto značku nakoľko nás presvedčila, že ponúka naozaj veľa. To nehovoríme len o detailoch. Nás predovšetkým zaujíma celkový dojem. Spojením dvoch naozaj pekných CHEVROLET modelov vznikol pekný set, ktorý vám dnes prezentujeme. Myslíme, že mnohí z vás isto budú nadšení tak ako my.

Above all, it is necessary to realize that MAISTO brings a lot of its own tuning to these cars. This is especially evident in the CAPRICE model, which is designed in the LOW RIDE style. Of course, this does not detract from the attractiveness of the model. In this way, MAISTO gently copies the American car street culture, which has gained many admirers around the world. Both models in a two-tone combination of yellow and white roof have perfectly accentuated body parts, including chrome accessories. What we also really appreciated was the print graphics. Perfectly clear without defects.

Predovšetkým si treba uvedomiť, že MAISTO do týchto autíčok vnáša veľa tuningovej vlastnej tvorby. Vidieť to je predovšetkým na modeli CAPRICE, ktorý je navrhnutý v štýle LOW RIDE. To však samozrejme neuberá modelu na atraktivite. MAISTO touto cestou jemne kopíruje americkú automobilovú pouličnú kultúru, ktorá si získala množstvo obdivovateľov po celom svete. Oba modely v dvojfarebnej kombinácii žltej s bielou strechou majú dokonale zvýraznené časti karosérie vrátane chrómových doplnkov. Čo sme tiež veľmi ocenili bola printová grafika. Dokonale zreteľná bez defektov.

The cars have smoke window fillings. And for CHEVROLET CAPRICE models, the modified interior is also evident in the LOW RIDE style. Behind the rear window you can see the speaker system. Unfortunately, due to the smoke disappointment, it is not very easy to see into the interior. The CAPRICE model is fitted with large chrome discs, but the width of the tires is a bit undersized in this case. However, we appreciate the amount of graphically highlighted details, which greatly enlivens the model. In particular, the rear face was perfectly designed by the manufacturer. The overall impression of the car is a bit marked by the absence of details.

Autíčka majú osadené dymové výplne okien. A na modely CHEVROLET CAPRICE je naviac zjavný upravovaný interiér tiež v štýle LOW RIDE. Za zadným oknom je vidieť sústava reproduktorov. Bohužiaľ práve kvôli dymovým sklam nie je do interiéru veľmi dobre vidieť. Model CAPRICE má osadené veľké chrómové disky, avšak šírka pneumatík je v tomto prípade troška poddimenzovaná. Oceňujeme však množstvo graficky zvýraznených detailov, čo model veľmi oživuje. Predovšetkým zadné čelo sa podarilo výrobcovi dokonale navrhnúť. Celkový dojem z autíčka je troška poznačený absenciou vkladaných detailov.

On the contrary, MAISTO chassis was at least partially tuned using the main parts of the chassis highlighted in color. In the case of CAPRICE, there is really something to look at. The rubber wheels on both cars are a matter of course. The CHEVROLET transport consists mainly of plastic parts. The cabin is metal, but the other components are made of quality plastic parts. The movable loading ramp enlivens the whole car and gives it dynamism. Although the model has beautiful wheels, our model had a defective rubber tire. We believe that this shortcoming is only isolated.

Naopak podvozky MAISTO aspoň čiastočne doladil pomocou farebne zvýraznených hlavných častí podvozku. V prípade CAPRICE je naozaj na čo pozerať. Samozrejmosťou sú gumené kolieska na oboch autíčkach. Transportný CHEVROLET je zložený prevažne z plastových dielov. Kabína je kovová, ale ostatné súčasti sú z kvalitných plastových dielov. Pohyblivá nakladacia rampa oživuje celé auto a dodáva mu dynamickosť. I keď má model krásne kolieska, náš model mal vadnú gumenú pneumatiku. Veríme, že tento nedostatok je len ojedinelý.

The impression of this CHEVROLET pair, despite slight shortcomings, is more than perfect. The yellow color on the models is impressive and with a number of graphic accessories, the models really look realistic. The ELITE TRANSPORT collection is really going in the right direction. It fits perfectly into your collection of 1/64 scale models. Our verdict is positive.

Dojem z tejto dvojice CHEVROLET i cez mierne nedostatky je viac ako dokonalý. Žltá farba na modeloch je pôsobivá a s množstvom grafických doplnkov modely naozaj pôsobia realisticky. Kolekcia ELITE TRANSPORT naozaj ide správnym smerom. Dokonale sa hodí do vašej zbierky modelov v mierke 1/64. Náš verdikt je pozitívny.
